The Benevolent Fund is an “Emergency Fund” for members and others in need. In the past we have used funds for helping with medical expenses, housing, food, utilities, etc.
As a member church of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, we support the synod efforts to plant churches, support church workers, assist and administrative work and as always- to grow the faith.

The Pregnancy Care Center of Traverse City offers free pregnancy testing, ultrasound (to confirm a pregnancy), counseling and baby items in a loving pro-life atmosphere.
Right to Life of Michigan is another way in which we support the sanctity of all human life. Each year we are a sponsor of the Grand Traverse Area Focus on Life Dinner.
Concordia Theological Seminary (Ft. Wayne, IN) is one of two seminaries operated by the LCMS. Through our annual support we are helping to prepare more men to serve as pastors, woman to be deaconesses and both to be missionaries.
The Seminary Student Adoption Program is how we offer tangible support to a student from both the Ft. Wayne, IN and St. Louis, MO Seminary.
Trinity Lutheran School - Christian (Lutheran) education has always been important to Lutherans. At Immanuel of Leland, it is even one of our church's core values. We demonstrate this importance by helping a local Lutheran school in Traverse City.
