Under the direction of our music director, Mark Peters, Immanuel Lutheran has an Adult Choir.
The Adult Choir is responsible for enriching the liturgy of Immanuel by providing music for anthems, settings of hymn verses, and special settings of the Psalms. Choir rehearsals are usually fun and social settings where members get to know each other better, but also where we bond on theological and spiritual levels as we share the hymnody and anthems of the church with each other and our congregation.
The choir sings in church every other Sunday during the festival season of the church year and sings occasionally during the summer. Adult Choir rehearsal is usually on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM from September-June. All are invited to participate, regardless of experience!
